TV Night

Last night was our favorite night for TV. The kids were sound alseep by 7:20 to ensure no interruptions, the phones on silent, and snacks on the coffee table. Our night started with The Office....Steve's favorite. I thought it was so stupid the first few times I watched it, but made it through the first season anyway. Now I laugh right along with my husband, funny stuff! Then we watched Grey's....my favorite. I am a loyal follower and never miss, but I was not so pleased with last night's episode. I was hoping for an ending that made me long for more, but not this time. It will take a few weeks to get used to all the new faces and I miss Burk and Addison (I will be watching the spin-off called "Private Practice".) I will still watch Grey's every Thursday. I have not given up on them just yet....it's still a favorite.

Okay, so after making a post on my blog about tv and knowing full well that my parents read my blog, I started feeling guilty. Like, "Is this the only thing I have of importance to say on my blog?...How excited the new Fall season premieres make me?" So I'm delighted to know that I share that need to get my kids in bed and fast asleep on Thursday nights with a few other people too!

Yea for Jim and Pam, right!?

Yeah, I wasn't so happy with Grey's last night either. I wish they would just leave D and M alone and let them be normal and happy for a little bit. She is getting annoying with the whole unhappiness thing. I wish I didn't care so much! What about George and Izzie??? What is going to happen there? I laughed when McSteamy told Derek that he had come to Seattle to get Derek back...that was funny. I hope they include more of those funny moments this season. It's one of those shows I love and hate all at the same time, which I hate! :)

Love the pictures! I miss my boys and daughter - in- law!
I could just see your face when you were blogging about the "hand washing" incident! Sorry about the OU loss, but was feeling better after Texas lost too! Amy and I went to Women of Faith this weekend and enjoyed the time together and the speakers. Our favorites were Patsy Clairmont and Anita Renfroe -- she's the lady who was on UTube for one of her ranting songs about raising children. SOO FUNNY. Also loved Nicole Nordeman. Wish all my girls could have gone with me.
Love ya,
Mimi

I am glad there is another avid Grey's fan...I am having conflict with another show recording at the same time as Grey's, and right as Izzie opened the door and George was there, it stopped, so I bought it on I-tunes just to see the end. And I am all with your mil, I wanted to wear a sign that said "At least we didn't lose to KSU!"
