We've been trying to get our Braxton to drink, drink, drink! We have drinks all over the house for him to choose from. I thought I'd gather them all up for you to see. He is not a "good" sick person...takes after his daddy in that area for sure. So many people have said, "Oh, he'll bounce back just a few days after surgery." Hmmmmm, still waiting for that bounce.
After 5 days of "sickliness", he IS starting to feel a little more like himself. It is still a battle to get him to take his meds, he is still waking up hurting in the night, and he has to be reminded to drink, drink, drink. But he's loving his leggos and watching Noggin 24/7. At bedtime last night Braxton pointed to the ceiling and said, "Do you think HE knows I got my tonsils out?" Of course He knows baby! (Smile)

man, i got my tonsils out when i was 17 and i wouldn't drink AT ALL. i was in BIG TROUBLE! it took me 2 whole weeks to cooperate! stubborn? ya think? glad he's a little better - give it til the weekend and i bet he'll be bouncing!
I'm telling you try some original Coke! It worked for Mere and I!
